Daniele Burns

Job Captain

Daniele was raised in a small town in California’s Central Valley, where there are more cows than people. During her undergraduate studies in UC Santa Barbara’s Environmental Science program, she participated in a field research program in Chile, studying vernacular architecture, urban planning, and environmental stewardship. This experience paved the way for her to pursue architecture, with the goal of creating spaces that hold the intersection of community, sustainability, and the environment as paramount. She got her start in Santa Barbara, implementing sustainable and environmental principles in high-end residential design. Daniele worked for a general contractor while earning her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Southern California, marrying the theoretical and practical applications of design and construction. She has had the opportunity to work on an array of projects, from commercial architecture and interior multi-family developments to retail and residential projects. When Daniele is not focused on a Revit model, she enjoys skiing, reading, and hiking with her dog June.
