Joe Lewis
Job Captain
After graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, Joe began his professional career at CCA in 2017. Since then, he moved back to his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, where he rejoined CCA remotely in 2021, a setup he affectionally refers to as CCA Midwest. Joe considers himself a student at heart and loves to research different topics in the profession, from building science and sustainable practices to architectural history and graphic design. You won't have to do much convincing to get Joe to grab a beer with you and discuss all things architecture, such as why Louis Kahn is just as important as Frank Lloyd Wright. Joe thrives on bringing new ideas and energy to each project he works on. He believes in the rigorous process of creating quality design and in the power of telling a building's story through graphics and imagery. When away from his desk, Joe loves to spend quality time with his wife and daughter. Whether it be a project around the house, a long bike ride, or a vacation, Joe loves getting out there and experiencing life to the fullest with his family.
