Rich has been an integral part of CCA for more than 17 years, leading many of the firm’s most defining projects. Guided by a modern sensibility, Rich has contributed significantly to the progressive direction of the firm through his leadership, design, and project management. In recognition of his visionary leadership role within the firm, Rich was named Managing Principal in 2024. In close collaboration with Charles and our team, Rich is poised to lead the next generation of designers, propelling our firm's innovative approach to client-centric design.

With a passion for architectural solutions that are both simple in form and intricate in detail, Rich deeply values the collaborative process with clients and colleagues alike, embracing the diversity inherent in each project. Rich has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since relocating from Ohio in 1996, after completing his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Kent State University. Drawn by his love for architecture and skiing, he found Aspen the perfect setting to pursue his passions. He derives immense satisfaction from witnessing his clients' dreams come to fruition, consistently surpassing their expectations with each completed endeavor. Rich, a licensed architect in Colorado and NCARB certified, enjoys spending his leisure time exploring new destinations across the country and around the globe with his wife.
